Anonymous said: I was wondering if I could get a critique on my in game costume? My main knight account is Paintool. I like this blog to see what other people do with accessories and wonder how mine would look in others opinions.
We’d love to, if we knew what you looked like!

"So yeah. This is my costume…
Spent EXACTLY 1kcr (150 for Fencing, 50 for shield, 500 for mech’tenas, 100 for sword and 200 for LD) and 5 mist (Bribe in LD for bombhead) to make it. Thoughts? Any suggestion on improving?”
I think it’s pretty good! For the budget you sure can’t go wrong, but overall I think it’s unified and matches really well.
Certainly not something we see every day.
The reoccurring diamond motif is pretty cool! I also like that shade of blue with the grey. Plus, for 1kcr, it’s hard to lodge many complaints.

Happy Thanksgiving from Arc and Toast!
Well, American Thanksgiving, that is.
Get out there and cook some fantastical food! Or, if that’s not your cup of tea, eat some fantastical food.
I’m thankful for our lovely followers, my friends, both SK and not, and the game that made it all possible [through good times and bad], Spiral Knights!

•Green and purple is a good combination [mostly in this game but whatever!]

Today I found Boswick. It was exciting, mostly by virtue of the fact that he wasn’t mobbed!
This is also one of my more favourite costumes [just in general].

Ruby, looking snazzy.
I can easily imagine him telling his guild-mates “Just let me put on my mystery-solving hat” before equipping this and setting out.
Aww, Happy Eyes. There’s kind of a lot going on here, but it’s not bad!

Hello! I’m having second doubts about my Divine Helm Guards, but an overall critique of this costume would be great as well!
To be honest, I don’t find that helm guards are often a good addition to things (the main exception being to put them on hoods with a head band to make earmuffs/headphones) because of their strange shape. In this case, what makes them look odd is the divine gray that they don’t share with your Azure set.
The front bits at least carry the same blue-gray in, but the shape and colour don’t really fit on your helm very well.
Otherwise, it looks good - the blade is a decent match, and the feather looks natural.
(Sorry for taking so long to post this submission. It’s been in drafts for a while.)

My submission for your blog :)
My outfit is pretty simple, having only one accessory and no height modifier. Yet I’m quite pleased with its uniqueness and style. It makes use of some very rarely seen costume pieces. I almost never see a Mercurial Demo Helm on a player not also wearing a Mercurial Demo Suit, and I don’t think I’ve EVER seen anyone else wearing Ironmight Plate Mail. I’m very happy I managed to pair both of these items with something that isn’t just the other half of their set. And I think the result stands out from the crowd! (It even sort-of-but-not-quite matches the Callahan!)
What are your thoughts? :)
I for one, like this. I’ve toyed with the idea of putting a pipe on my mercurial demo helm, but I have nothing to pair it with. The Ironmight mail looks great, but also matches with few things, and this works well.
(As an aside, this is better for the helm than the Merc. Demo one, since they clip pretty badly together.)
